Demon Slayer Chapter 23

Zenitsu and Shoichi find themselves trapped with a frightening demon inside the shifting mansion. Terrified and convinced that he cannot protect the boy, Zenitsu begs Shoichi to run away. When the demon closes in, fear overwhelms him and he suddenly falls unconscious. But something unexpected happens after he loses consciousness.

In Demon Slayer Chapter 23, Zenitsu rises and uses Thunder Breathing: First Form, Thunderclap and Flash, cutting down the demon in a single strike. He wakes up moments later and has no idea what happened. Elsewhere, the boar-masked Demon Slayer defeats another demon with his own self-taught Beast Breathing. As the mansion battle continues, Kyogai reveals that Kiyoshi has rare blood that is especially valuable to demons. He also reveals that he was once Lower Rank Six of the Twelve Kizuki.
