Demon Slayer Chapter 19

The battle with Susamaru comes to a shocking end when Muzan’s curse destroys her from within. Tanjiro is horrified by what he sees and asks Tamayo if the demon is truly dead. Tamayo explains that demons can normally be killed by sunlight or a Nichirin sword, yet Muzan has another way to destroy the demons under his control.

In Demon Slayer Chapter 19, Tamayo examines Susamaru and discovers that she was not one of the Twelve Kizuki. Tanjiro is disappointed because he hoped her blood might provide useful information about Muzan. Yushiro then protects Tanjiro from Tamayo’s Blood Demon Art as the group prepares to deal with the aftermath of the battle.
