Demon Slayer Chapter 7

The Hand Demon reveals that it has been trapped on Mount Fujikasane for decades and has killed many of Urokodaki’s students. When it recognizes Tanjiro’s fox mask, it proudly tells him about Sabito and Makomo and reveals that they were among the students it killed. Tanjiro loses his composure after hearing what happened to Makomo, but Sabito’s voice reminds him to control his breathing and stay focused.

In Demon Slayer Chapter 7, Tanjiro is pushed to the edge as the Hand Demon attacks with its many arms. Even after being knocked unconscious, memories of his family help him regain the strength to continue. He uses his sense of smell to find the demon’s opening and realizes that its neck is extremely difficult to cut. With everything he learned during his training, Tanjiro uses Water Breathing: First Form and finally slices through the Hand Demon’s neck.
