Demon Slayer Chapter 57

Tanjiro slowly realizes that Nezuko’s Blood Demon Art is helping him wake from Enmu’s dream. His peaceful life with his family begins to fall apart as he understands that he cannot stay there forever. Even though he desperately wants to return to the life he lost, Tanjiro accepts that his family is gone and that he must continue his journey to protect Nezuko.

In Demon Slayer Chapter 57, Tanjiro runs through the forest searching for a way out of the dream while Enmu’s followers continue trying to destroy the spiritual cores of the sleeping Demon Slayers. Inosuke and Zenitsu sense the intruders inside their subconscious and fight back in their own unusual ways. Tanjiro eventually receives a strange warning from his father telling him to draw his blade. Realizing that dying inside the dream will wake him, Tanjiro makes the painful decision to use his own sword against himself.
